With this activity, we'll take a ride on an electric sail boat to spot dolphins and whales in their natural habitat. A perfect experience if you're in Denia and love marine life!

Options

When making your booking, you'll be able to choose between the following options to enjoy this dolphin and whale spotting experience in Denia. Both options include an audio guide in English, as well as drinks and fruit during the boat ride. Below, you can check out a description of the options:

Morning Tour (4 hours)

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the El Portet Marina, where the electric sail boat will be waiting for us. Once we're all onboard, we'll set sail to begin our dolphin and whale-spotting adventure. You'll love it!

During the journey, a marine biologist will tell us all about the animals and the importance of the Denia coastline as well as one of the best observation points in the Valencian Community. In addition, we'll have specialised equipment such as a 360-degree camera and a hydrophone, which will allow you not only to see but also to hear these truly amazing animals.

To make this experience even more special, we'll be served drinks and aperitifs onboard.

After 4 hours on the boat, we'll return to solid ground and say our goodbyes back at the starting point.

Sunset Tour (2.5 hours)

With this option, we'll depart from the same point once we've hopped on the boat, which will take us on a tour to see some dolphins and whales at sunset - a magical experience!

On this journey, we'll sail along the coast of Denia and the Cape of San Antonio, taking advantage of the peacefulness of the sunset to go in search of these amazing animals. Thanks to the silence of the electric boat's motor, we'll be able to see these animals up close and personal without disturbing them, all the while being environmentally friendly.

Just like the morning boat ride, we'll be accompanied by a marine biologist, who'll provide you with some very interesting information about the cetaceans. We'll also have the help of a 360-degree camera and a hydrophone to see and hear these incredible marine mammals in their natural environment.

During the tour, we'll be served drinks and aperitifs. And the best of all? You'll be able to enjoy this with some of the best views of the sunset from the boat!

After this amazing boat tour, we'll disembark at the pier from where we left.

Dolphin + Whale Sighting

The Denia Coastline is the perfect place for spotting dolphins and whales. However, these animals are unpredictable. The sighting of a greater or lesser number of specimens will depend on various factors such as the weather at the time or the breeding and rearing seasons of the different species.
